Dear Lime Kiln Community,                            9/4/24

My name is Tracy Spillman and I am the GT Resource teacher. At Lime Kiln we have a very active Environmental Seminar (STEAM) that maintains our school’s gardens and participates in many environmental projects. We have the opportunity to partner with a company that upcycles plastic. If we collect enough plastic, the company will in turn give us products that they make from the recycled plastic. Below are the products that I want Lime Kiln to receive, but I need your help!!

The company will accept only plastic 2 and 5. However, this includes many types of common plastic we use every day. Please see the full list of examples below.

Have your child bring the plastic your household has collected. We will wash and deliver the plastic to the company. Please help us in this endeavor.
