These messages focus on fostering positive peer interactions, building a strong school community, and promoting values such as compassion, empathy, diversity, commonality, and overall student well-being. We believe in the importance of promoting these values with our students, and we wanted to keep you informed. Starting this week, these messages will also be featured in our community newsletter, allowing you to stay updated on the themes we are emphasizing in school. Thank you for your continued support in reinforcing these positive messages at home. Together, we can create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all our students. Warm regards, Tammy Jones Principal
Motivational Message Wednesday, November 1, 2023 I wanted to take a moment to remind us all of the profound impact kindness can have, especially in the face of the challenges our world often presents. In a few weeks, we will be celebrating Kindness Week, and I encourage each and every one of you to participate wholeheartedly. Kindness is not just a virtue; it is a powerful force for change. In a world where turmoil, violence, and unkind treatment seem all too common, we have the opportunity to be the difference. Let's make the conscious choice to treat our peers with kindness and compassion, and let's actively work on embracing others with open hearts. The beauty of kindness lies in its ability to not only uplift others but also enrich our own lives. When we choose kindness, we foster a positive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Moreover, practicing kindness equips us with invaluable skills that can help us navigate even the most challenging situations and deal with difficult people. Remember, what is right will always prevail in the end. Let's be motivated to be kind, not just by chance, but on purpose. Quarter 1 Report Cards Quarter 1 report cards will be available in HCPSS Connect Synergy at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Instructions on how to access report cards are available online.
