Congratulations to ANJALI PALIYAM who has reached one of the top 25 spots in the State of Maryland for Fox’s Baltimore yearly contest The Champion of Courage. Anjali’s champion that she wrote about is Elon Musk. Anjali will be invited to a taping session of her essay, a breakfast, a $100.00 savings bond and a chance to win more prizes.

Congratulations to 8th grader DENNIS MICHAEL HERSCHBACH who submitted his poem “Pieces” to the Young Writers of America Poetry Contest. Thousands of submissions were entered and less than 20% of the entries were selected to be published. Michael is a member of Writer’s Guild.
